Bothered by the food restrictions when getting braces? This family favorite goes great with dental work! As long as you cook the macaroni until it is soft and savory, you won’t have to worry about anything wrecking your brackets and wires.

INGREDIENTS:
-1 package macaroni (8-9 oz.)
-3 cups thin white sauce (see below)
-¼ to ½ pound grated cheese
-1 tablespoon grated onion
-½ teaspoon dry mustard
-1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
-½ cup buttered crumbs
-A dash of paprika

DIRECTIONS:
Cook macaroni; drain and rinse.

Combine hot white sauce, grated cheese, onion, mustard and Worcestershire sauce, reserving a little of the grated cheese for topping. Add macaroni. Place in a greased casserole. Top with buttered crumbs, remaining cheese and a dash of paprika.

Bake in a moderate oven (375° Fahrenheit) about 25 minutes or until browned. Makes 6-8 servings.
